Let’s start with yesterday.
Yesterday:
Ard 6pm, my lady boss (e group finance controller) called me to go into her room.. With the finance manager also inside.
Then she mentioned that it’s not that they don’t want to confirm me, it’s just that they’re too busy these few weeks.
Then she told me alot alot of things.. Shared with me alot of working things..
Then she asked me if i got any suggestions or difficulties.. I just mentioned the answering calls sometimes i can’t handle the nasty ones and have to transfer to my mentor to help me.. And the invoices n DO system is abit tedious some times coz e sites don’t return or the suppliers ignore my fax all tat.
Then she explained to me it’s becoz my responsibilities and work’s zhong xin is different from them. The site’s zhong xin is to build the building successfully so my DOs are not their priorities etc etc.
Then she say every job will have a part that u like and e part that u dun like. But u can’t remove the parts that u dun like and only do the parts that u like, so try to think this way.
Even if someone pushed something to u that u dun wan or u don’t know, it’s ur advantage that u will learn things. U can learn problem solving skills while solving, u will think a lot while u’re solving and u learn new things.
I nearly mentioned that there’s a period where i feel that maybe i’m not suitable for this job as i can’t handle as well as my mentor.. My planning is not that well etc etc.. But in e end i didn’t..
She mentioned that they got discuss b4 but her decision was not to give me an increment now because Year End got another revised.. She explained that it’s better if year end revise together instead of having 2 times, if not the quotum will not be good.
She asked me if i’m disappointed or not. I replied no. Previously my friends asked me i alr got mention i dun think i will have an increment le. So i alr have the xin li zhun bei and guessed that i dun have.
Therefore i really dun hav any bit of ‘xi wang’ or think that i will have any increment b4 they told me. Really dun have.
Then she say must be open.. Try to learn.. esp time management.
One of my colleagues really very pro. She handle 6 full set accts but her time management was super super super perfect that she won’t end up being busy at all lor. Super pei fu.. admire her time management.
Then we talked till 7pm..

Today i got my confirmation letter. Ha my colleagues got 3 super-4D fans haha.. They asked me my letter’s ref no, my new IC no all tat.. they wanna buy HAHA..
Got my pay slip and saw CPF deductions.. but only deducted less than 2% i think. Becoz 1st yr PR deduct very little. Ha.. Although sad that hav lesser take home pay, but at least i’m very pleased and look forward to my CPF acct coz i will use it to buy my own flat and stay myself in future.
Then they joke abt asking me to treat Mac breakfast tmr. I really said OK ha.. But after they knew i dun hav increment, they say it’s ok nvm le.

my parents are goin Thai tmr and coming back on Sat midnight. My senior accts. exec. oso goin Thai tmr then end up she’s on e same flight as my parents leh!! Then i joke with her, i say i’ll ask my dad to ‘HOOT’ you once he see u.. ha..
I think i’m really very open to my colleagues le ba. For eg, Mon got SuperBand, i’ll suddenly tell them YAY today is Monday, so happy!! Then they’ll ask y.. or joke say ‘y, u married ah’
Then i will say COz got SuperBand!
Then they will know i like SuperBand le lor..
I use this way to communicate with them de..
Juz say whatever i want to say, what i like, then ppl will know more abt u.
I even told them abt my future goals, my dreams all tat.
Hope this mth’s closing will be better for me ba..
Next Tue got department meeting coz got few new projects coming up, which mean got new companies, so they are re-arranging the accounts..
They told me last time they hav meeting, they go airport to eat Breeks.. they knock off at 4+.. wa.. so good.. think this time dun hav.
