ants?!

Why my topic title is ants?

Coz ants are always super busy when they’re moving house!

 

today my mentor was not around, but lucky wad i’m worried did not happen..

although the same supplier that chased me since fri, called me FOUR times today, i think she called me 5times on Fri too!

haha..

Coz our cheques have to let 2 big bosses sign de.. Then one of them very scary.. Or i should say, he give me a very very scary feeling..

And as usual, ur must have know i am someone who is very easily afraid of ppl, esp fierce ppl.

And becoz we only can go in to him to sign cheque once per day, coz he doesn’t want to be disturbed too many times, so morning alr went in to let him sign urgent cheques alr.

But this urgent cheque is afternoon then ready de..

Then the director come back le, but there are guest in his room.. it’s ard 3.45 le.. then his personal assistant say he 4pm got meeting again..

I am suppose to chiong in to let him sign coz this one reali very urgent, but i dun dare to go in coz he’s too scary for me le.. got e strong phobia-tion haha..

THen my FM help me to go into her room to let him sign.
haha..

Busy…

Yesterday night i alr think of what i have to do today, from last mth till now de basket of problem invoices hor, till now i haven’t solve at all leh..
Then i alr decide that my priority today, is to solve these problems!

BUT, till now, 5.42pm, i still haven touch tat basket AT ALL.

Morning once i come, one basket full of invoices tat boss approved for payment, then another basket of signed cheques on my table..

So i hav to settle e cheques first, check signatures, then pass to my colleagues to settle..

Then e payment approved invoices, hav to go through them, check approval chop sign n signatures, then do my list (coz too many, hav to do a list which are e ones approved and not, coz when ppl call, i hav to tell them either we will prepare cheque and either this fri or next mon will call them, or hav to see according to e boss’s note if he nv approved then tell them something.. haha.. )..

Then next thing that happened i oso not very sure.. i only know alot things keep poppping up..

I think there is a period tat calls keep coming in then i keep pulling out my files to check things till my table is super messy with different files..

Then site managers come back, i hav to catch them and ask them to verified things and write reason for some invoices that doesnt hav Purchase Orders issued…

But i very fed up with e supplier leh.. She kept calling n calling whole day, then e boss reali nv come in ma, how to let him sign.. Then he ard 3+ then come back, then my FM still help me chiong in even though we are not suppose to, coz alr went in once in e morning liao,

Then once e cheque is ready e 1st min i call them to collect, but they tell me ’so late alr, tmr then collect’!

WT*!!!!

hahahaha..

Waste my FM’s time and effort leh..

My table is as usual, super luan de lor..

Haha.

anyway, did my petty cash form today for June.. total is $63.30! haha

how am i?!

this week is the start that i’ll ask my mom to cook extra share if she got cook coz i’ll leave some rice n vege/meat over to next morning to bring to work as my lunch.

i have to save money. no choice.

But i think my colleagues will be unhappy coz never go out to eat with them? I dunno.. sometimes they seem they understand tat my situation to need to save $.. sometimes they seem that they are unhappy. i oso dunno what other ppl think.. Why can’t people just be truthful and face one another with sincereity.. This world is alr so corrupted..

Well, i started to felt incompetent in my work.

My company’s closing is every 2nd week of the month. 3days before closing i have to key in as many current mth’s invoices as i can then let my mentor check during e 3days before they close it on e real closing date.

The road to keying in is tedious.

• Original Invoices will come to me, whereas
• Delivery ORders will be to site (we r property developers) then site manager will bring to office to us when they come back.
• Purchase Order & Work order will be issued by the purchasing department.

1. Original invoices i’ll file in my inv unmatch file
2. When site returns Delivery Order, the purchasers will match it with their Purchase/Work order and pass to me
3. Then i match the invoices to the respective DO&PO
4. Then i key in
5. Then my mentor check, while i pass on the documents to Quantity Surveyors (ppl who do budgeting) for them to sign, hav to photocopy a copy for them so imangine i always give them hundreds invoices and i hav to stand in front of e photocopy machine how long.
6. Then they return to me and i file back to my matced invoices file.

It seems not reali tedious or take time but actually there is a lot of problems de..

• some invoices, DO, PO are not original copies, i have to call the supplier to fax a Certified True Copy over to me.. and trust me, they always don’t! always never fax to me..
• If there are no Purchase Order, i have to check Letter Of Awards to see if the price agreed on e contract and the invoice’s unit price is e same, and trust me, always got non tally de! so i have to check with the QS to see if they got new contract, but most of e time is supplier make mistake, then i call them to ask them issue Credit Note coz they always charge more..
  (haix.. got 1 since Jan till now all their invoices over-charge us, i alr called them more than 10times last week but they juz dun settle it!)
• Then even if the faxed documents reach me, i have to pend those documents to let site managers to sign when they come back to office which i won’t know when they will come back.
• If no DOs, i have to call and ask them if they got any attachment to fax to me..
• Sometimes it’s problems rose with purchasing department then i hav to go and find them to solve e prob but trust me, they’re always super super super busy and i always had difficulty communicating with them even though they are very nice people..

And other that above, imagine my phone kept ringing, i hav to stop wad i’m doing, go and check their request.. if supplier call to chase payment, i will hav to go matched invoice file to take out their invoices and put into a payment-approval basket, every fri to take in for boss’s approval. If is sub-contractor, have to take out their certificate and same thing.

Some nasty ones hav to tell them we’ll try our best, blah blah blah.. wad i’m afriad is only last wk we alr put in for boss’s approval but boss will not approve n wrote ‘Next mth’, middle of mth, end of mth’ thing then i dun reali know how to tell them when they call to chase.. coz can’t say boss doesnt approve.. hav to say ’still waiting for approval’ then of coz they’ll be nasty coz they alr called last wk..

There are a lot of documents that will be pending.. and slowly stack to one big pile of problemed.. all so hard n tedious to solve.. sometimes i already very worried i can’t match all e invoices already then my mentor will find out problems then ask me to go n find who, call who to ask for wad, settle wad..

I know it’s my character’s problem.. at home i dun like my parents to keep calling me or talk to me when i’m watching tv or using com, so e same thing, at work while i’m so worried abt my work n reali very rush hoping to get it done by time, i feel very discouraged or even more worried when my mentor stop me ask me to go where to settle something..

It’s like disturbing me from rushing things. But those problems i have to solve it by hook or by crook, sooner or later.. So i can’t say whose wrong or who to blame coz i am only to blame if i never solve it. Must solve then can key into system ma.

Today i have to key in as many and tml onwards can’t key in May’s de liao. Must take in in June’s system liao.. But my invoice file have, approximately 100++ or 200++ invoices.. it’s full de.. I’m so damn worried u know..

Some is becoz i hav Invoices but the D/O & P/O never come back to me.. Some is Inv waiting for original copy or waiting for suppliers to fax wadever doc to me..

And furthermore one big pile of problem documents beside me which is pilling higher and higher..

Plus phone calls..

I dunno if i can take it anymore.

Wanted to stay back Overtime yesterday to work.. Coz i’m super worried that i can’t finish..
But my colleagues asked me to go home, say don’t need to stay on Mondays la.. But i dunno if i could finish if i only stay tonight..

Then my mentor say once she close her other accts today she will help me..

I am grateful to that.

But, i wonder if other colleagues will think that i’m incompetent that i can’t finish or handle my work that i have to let other ppl help me..

I feel incompetent..

why do i need ppl to help me..

why my mentor kept telling me next mth she can’t help me much le.

is she hinting that i’m not doing or handling well..

Am i really so imcompetent that i can’t do my work well.

I thought i’ll be strong and won’t cry at work.

But i juz had to hide to the toilet to cry too.

I think it’s really my problem..

Becoz other people can handle wad i’m doing in the past.

So it’s incompetent.

Ever thought of leaving, not to delay the company’s operation, not to trouble other people.
