my table is as usual super super messy. at e end of every day, my table is still full of papers. and i hav to work in a table full of different piles of papers and baskets leh. ha..

yesterday had a little short chat with my boss, e group finance comptroller. she said that she wans me to take at least 60marks for my tax paper.
she told me audit is most hard one, her fren stuck there 2-3yrs.. but our finance manager (2nd boss) she was very clever, she total only took 2 yrs to complete e whole ACCA. she is very clever de..

Our department is always transferring funds between our own companies. Coz under the whole group, there are 10+ companies.. then every week they will estimate how much they hav to pay out then if not enough $ will transfer funds from other companies.
At 1st I thought once big boss approve payment, after prepare cheque then e whole thing is ok le.
But we have to let finance manager go through e cheque with respective attachments (invoices,DO,PO etc etc) behind before we can let the big bosses sign.. Wa.. the FM check super super detailed.. And super li hai.. She can see any small mistakes leh.. Super Li Hai..
Then bounce back to us to solve.. always very tedious de.. i hate it.. ha.. then if ok le then let 2 big big big bosses sign..
Every week onli Friday can go in one big basket of cheques to 1 big big boss, then he sign out le we will bring in to e other big big big boss to sign.
As for payment approval, oso every Fri then i can prepare one big basket of invoices to bring in to let big big boss approve, then mon then he will giv it back to us to see if he approve, if he approve then we can prepare e cheque..
The process is abit long la.. Tat’s y i can understand y the suppliers n sub-con not happy.. i oso feel very ps to tell them not ready.. for eg..
1st wk- they call me (on any day of e week) to chase payment tat alr due le.. then i’ll write down, on Fri find e invoices of tat mth, then put in a basket, prepare a list, then at end of e day put into big boss’s tray.
2nd wk- Mon big boss will return to us.. if payment is approved, we’ll prepare e cheque during e week.. but Fri then can let boss sign..
3rd wk- Cheque will be signed out on Mon/Tue, then we can call them to collect.
This is e process.. must wait very long de.. Sometimes Monday they call me, but i oso hav to wait till Fri then can let boss approve.. then some everyday call me.. Tue call, Wed call, Thur call, Fri call.. i alr told them next Mon then call me le they still keep calling me haha..
Weeeheee today is my day of relieve le!!!!!
Coz tat guy last day alr. They can’t have e chance to joke abt him again. muahahahaha.
Oki, from next week onwards i’ll be super busy again.
Trying VERY hard to prevent e same situation to happen again.. I dun wan to wait till deadline nearby then stay till midnight all tat again.

Our department is call e Finance Department..
With a Group Finance Controller (our so call lady boss),
next is the Finance Manager (our so call small lady boss),
next is 2 Asst. Finance Manager, they’re v nice,
next is a Senior Accts Executive, i always joke n play with her,
next is 2 Accts executive, 1 is my AP mentor, 1 is a very nice lady,
next is 4 Accts assistant, 3 got in charge few full accts, 1 is me doing AP,
next is a contract temp accts assistant.
Next time then intro e full company hierachy, which seriously, alot ppl i still dunno. too many staffs.
Our Company got build a lot of buildings.. Novena there, ard TTS hospital got 4 of our condos..
One of our building is at ard us.. Changi Biz Park here.. Is a very very big n high class office building.. But they rent all e units out to earn $.. Then always got sales..
Heard them say one of e office is Nike and they are having sales le.. Last yr they all buy a lot a lot of Nike shoes onli $30 each, and some is LIMITED edition.. then got T-shirts all tat.. Maybe i can help your to buy some thihgs if ur wan.
